Hi,

What's the technical diferences betwen Windows Messenger and ICQ ? I use
both, but the ICQ Network have 120 millions of users, a great sucesss. The
ICQ is the "state-of-art" in IM enviroment. ?

Thank's

Weber

Greetings Weber,

Messenger has about 101 million users (last I heard anyway) and has been growing
exponentially for a long time.

I wouldn't consider ICQ to be "state of the art", although it has been around for a long
time, and has developed some usual features. From a technical aspect however, although I
haven't examined the ICQ protocol personally in awhile, there are some issues that are still
present (for example, sending a message to someone and it simply just sits there, and never
sends).

There's plenty of documentation on the web about both the ICQ and Messenger protocols.
