E-mail From My Documents Folder

Hi, I used to be able to send E-mail from my Documents
Folder in WinXP without being connected online, all I had
to do is right click on a file, click on mail reipient,
my outlook express send window came up typed in an
address,click send, the connection box came up, clicked
connected and off was the e-mail. Now I can't do this
anymore unless I'm connected online. This is the error
message Im getting: The host 'mail.earthlink.net' could
not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly. Account: 'mail.earthlink.net',
Server: 'mail.earthlink.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D. Everything works fine when I send E-mail
through any other program without being online, the
connection box pops up.This only happens in My documents
folder Any suggestions? Thanks

In My Computer , on View menu, click Folder Options. Click the File Types tab.

In list of file types, click.


(URL:Mailto Protocol)


Click Advanced. In Actions, click Open. Click Edit. In Application used to
perform action,

enter the program to use to open files that have this extension, then click OK.

In this case -including quotes-


"<drive>:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /mailurl:%1
