network connection popups

hi i use AOL and dial up modem to connect to the net.
whenever i sign off of aol i keep getting network
connection popups asking me to choose a connection method
and to connect, i get like 6 of these and i cancel them
all out but they always automatically restart aol and its
really very annoying. anyone know why its doing this or
how to fix it?

1-buy a new computer
2-get rid of aol (they sell your personal info)
3- get dsl or cable
4-come home early one day next week and find your wife cheating on you

2-gimme 6 months to pay off this pc
