I enjoyed the recent MSN Mesenger v Windows Messenger thread which said
thaty to use Video users must have XP.

I use XP Pro my son uses 98SE & my sister uses ME.

Is there any Messenger program we all could use to video conference please?
If not what options are available for us?

TIA

Greetings Pebso,

There are a few options open to you. The easiest, is just to have your son or sister click
the Actions menu in their Messenger, click "Start Netmeeting" and then you'll be able to
accept the request and do a voice/video conversation in Netmeeting instead (the Netmeeting
option is not in the XP client by default).

However, although I don't like to advertise other products, if you want to see each other,
and talk all at once, you might want to try Yahoo Messenger, which will allow you to do this
(http://messenger.yahoo.com) -- the quality isn't as good as Windows or MSN Messenger, but it
does allow multiuser conversations (MSN/Windows Messenger and Netmeeting currently do not
without expensive servers, not designed for consumer use)
