I use Windows messenger, and I want to be asked to enter
my password every time I log on. However, after I
enetered my password once, messenger remembers it and
logs me straight on. This seems to be a lack of
security. Can I change this?

Greetings Rachel,
Yes, you can. To turn off the automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the
Control Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side
of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that
opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
