I have a compaq 5105rsh pc running ME. I am trying to
upgrade to XP Home. When I try to upgade it hangs while
the program is checking my pc. I have a usb printer and
scanner that I have disconneted while try to install xp.
The only thing i have instaaed is my video card (GeForce4
MX 440) and more memory. My bios date is 5/06/2001
1100 AMD Athlon
Please tell me How to install XP. Can the upgrade disk
install a clean install?
