Installing DV Messenger for camcorder

I just bought a Canon Camcorder ZR70MC and it has DV
Messenger software that asks if Windows Messenger
operates and can its videoconference function be used
with a digital camcorder? Does anyone know the answer?
I just downloaded Windoes Messenger 4.7 API from the
website.

Greetings Gary,

First, if you don't have Windows XP Service Pack 1 already installed, install this patch:
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;Q310507

Then go into Windows Messenger and try going through the Audio (and Video) Tuning Wizard
again (click Tools, then Options, then Audio Tuning Wizard). If you get an error again
(device in use, etc.) then this probably won't work.
