Try simply doing a system restore in the Star - All
Programs- Acessories- Systems Tools- System restore. JUst
back it up to the day you bought the machine...

Bulldog: Of course, that's assuming the computer is relatively new. The
restore points don't last forever.
In addition, the system restore will only change system settings, so
documents, etc. will still be on the computer. It certainly won't be the way
it was when purchased.
To the OP: depending on what you got with the computer, either you have to
run the restore CD (or if it's an HP, run the restore from the partition on
the hard drive) or you need to use the Windows CD that came with the
computer and wipe the drive and reinstall Windows, reinstall drivers as
needed, and install any programs you plan on giving him..
