I've the same experience. Win XP slowed down and hanged
occasinally during reboot after I had applied 811493
hotfix. I removed it later, turned off Automatic Updates
and I am waiting for next revision of this patch :-). I
guess that MS developers should check the hotfixes more
thoroughly before releasing it, don't you think?
