folder properties...

hi,

i cannot activate the properties dialog for the folders through right click
with mouse. The option is enabled but when i select it nothing appears. This
happens only for folders and not for files.

any idea ?

Sounds like the user account you are logged on with doesn't have all the
necessary permissions to do that sort of thing. Reboot safe mode, logon as
Administrator and go to Properties on C drive and Security. From there
either find or add the user name you normally use and allow it full access.
If it is a Windows or Program Files folder, you will need to give special
access from there to that area most likely.
