Messenger Install Error

Errro message is:

INF INstall failure. Reason: Access is denied.

Please help?

I noticed that the directory program files\messenger is
marked as read-only, well, actually the entier program
files. I changed it tonot me read only only to find it
read only 2 seconds later.

I am using my administrator account.

Why is it doing that?

Is someone going to respond? I would like to use the white board
feature with MSN but it keeps telling me I need to install Windows
Messenger 4.7 or greater.

Please help!
