I have a Dell Inspiron running XP Home. It seems everytime
after the computer goes into standby mode amd I re-log on,
everything gets quirky. Files open very slow, lag time on
the internet is ridiculous, ect. What could be causing
this?
Also, I run some DOS based programs, that I know I can run
full screen no problem, but in general, I would like to
have run the program in a window. I can get it to do this,
but the window is always scaled too large for the display
( has scrollers on both side and bottom. I never had this
problem with 98 or ME. I have tried everything I know to
get the window to the right size, but haven't founf the
trick yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
