It seems ever since I've installed Windows XP Pro (fresh
install), applications that I've used for quite some time
are now crashing when doing a File | Save As...
Particularly, if saving images and the save as view is in
thumbnail mode. I see this quite often using Ulead
PhotoImpact 8 and I see it in Adobe Photoshop 7.01. I've
also seen this in a few other programs.
I have to think this is an issue buried somewhere in
Windows XP. Has anyone else seen problems like this?
When I do a Save As, most of the time, I see the Save As
dialog for just a moment and then the entire application
just disappears, no errors, not anything!
