View Full Version : AIM URLs: similar function in Messenger?

Hello,

For example if you type URL
aim:GoIM?JohnDoe&Message=Hi+John+how+are+you
in a browser it activates an AIM IM session. The
benefits to a web developer are great.

Does anyone know if Windows Messenger has an equivalent
to this AIM URLs functionality?

Thanks in advance.

Bill

Greetings William,

There isn't anything specifically like this (a link), although you can open a conversation
window using the Messenger API on a web page, the problem is, if you have MSN Messenger 5
installed, it no longer works -- as such, I won't paste the code here (e-mail me if you
really want it).
