Can't send attachment with email

When using Outlook Express 6 on Windows xp I can recieve
emails and surf the net with no problems,
but when i try to send an email with an attachment larger
than about 100k it stops half way through, with no bytes
being sent or recieved. I have a friend on the same ISP
and he doesn't have this problem.
please help.

Close OE after finding the 'store folder' (options. maintenance tab) Delete your
"Outbox.DBX" file, and restart OE.

If no help, create a new Identity. (File menu.) Then "Import" the old messages.
