View Full Version : Help Please! Search Engine

T
April 18th 03, 02:44 PM
Hi all,

I am very frustrated here. Can anyone please help me with the following:

All of a sudden, today, when I attempted to use my default search engine,
all I get is a search engine called Search Results, no matter what I try to
do to go back to Google, there is no way it will work, keeps going to that.
Must have picked it up from doing some surfing on the web. How can I get
rid of it? I am not being allowed to change the preferences in any way.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Try entering

www.google.com

in the address line in IE 6, (or double-clicking on it above) and see if
you connect properly. If you do, save it in 'favourites'.

Thank you, your advice is appreciated, that did work. It is a shame that
somehow my drive was invaded that way, but I will pursue this with IE and in
the meantime use my favorites to search through google.

Have a great day,

Tom
