I'm unable to install XP. The error message tells me:
SETUP WAS UNABLE TO VERIFY DRIVE C:
Another message says: SETUP CANNOT ACCESS THE CD
CONTAINING THE WINDOWS XP INSTALLATION
Another message says: WINDOWS COULD NOT START BECAUSE THE
FOLLOWING FILE IS MISSING OR CORRUPT:
\WINDOWS\INF\BIOSINFO.INF.
If anyone can straighten this out for me,I'd be forever
GRATEFUL!

Either your BIOS is corrupt or you are trying to install XP using
an OEM CD meant for a specific computer.

Greetings --

Have you ensured that all the PC's components are capable of
supporting WinXP? This information will be found at each of the PC's
component's manufacturer's web sites, and on Microsoft's Hardware
Compatibility List: (http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/default.asp)
Computer components designed for use with Win9x/Me very often fail to
meet WinXP's much more stringent hardware quality requirements.

Can you obtain OS-specific device drivers for your PC's
components, and any necessary motherboard BIOS updates? Additionally,
you can download and run Microsoft WinXP Upgrade Advisor to see if you
have any incompatible hardware components.

Are you booting from the XP CD?
