I have setup several clients with Linksys BEFSR45 (?)
routers and I have a Linksys WRT51AB. When my clients use
MS Messenger to invite me to "Assist" them, I keep getting
a message that the connection can not be established.
However, if I connect my computer directly to my ISP
bypassing the WRT51AB, we can establish a connection just
fine.
I have turned on port forwarding on my router and
forwarded 3389(Terminal Services) and also tried following
http://www.itworld.com/nl/win_this_wk/11252002/ but I am
still having a problem. (After following the article, I
changed my port to 8080)
Does Messenger use random ports when attempting to
establish a Remote Assistance session? Has anyone had
this problem before?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance,
