DSL with MSN Messenger

I cannot connect to a dial-up user when I use my DSL
connection. My (emergency) dial-up line works just fine
I can use DSL to dial-up with Yahoo Messenger.

What do I need to correct for DSL to work on MSN
Messenger???

Hi

Everytime I open up IE, for some reason the MSN Messenger
thingy shows up beside the clock on the bottem right of
my screen. It doesn't load though but is there any way of
turning this off? I tried looking under Options in the
Messenger window but couldn't seem to find anything.
