corrupt browser

Hi, I have a 3 month old computer with windows xp home
edition. I have a corrupt browser. On xp I can't find
where you can re-install internet explorer...Currently
I'm using netscape...also I'm not sure if the browser is
the problem...I can't install Norton anti-virus
2003...Has anyone else had this problem? Please help...

Hi Lee,

Click start/run, copy/paste in this command and click "ok":

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
%windir%\Inf\ie.inf
