I just purchased a new keyboard yesterday.........(micro
innovations)which is designed for Windows XP.....When I
insert the disk in my "A" drive I get an error message
saying "disk not formated".......this has been happening
with other disks as well..... Can anyone help? I am
going nuts.....this happens also when I insert a disk
from my digital camera.

You could try getting into safe mode (F8 at boot), looking at device
manager and deleting *all* drivers shown for the floppy. Then reboot and
let XP automatically find the best driver.
