I have this recurring problem i would like to solve. For some reason when
ever i have a video AND voice conversation, windows messenger will freeze
about 5-10 minutes in, but I will still be able to hear the other end (not
see, as this freezes too). Other applications carry on running but I cant
access them until eventually windows messenger informs me my video and voice
conversation has ended!
I use a USB2 hub that has my Labtec mic plugged in to it, but the camera is
on a seperate USB port on the back of the computer, I have noticed that when
this problem occurs the lights on my USB2 hub go off as if I have unplugged
the lead, and windows gives me the unplugged sound. I had this problem
before I had the USB2 hub, so I don't think it is that. BUT, I am able to
have a voice conversation on its own!
More annoying than that, is the fact that once I have reconnected to the
video and voice coversation I was having, I have no mic output, so I then
have to end the conversation again, return to the audio tuning wizard and
reset my mic to what it should be.

PLEASE HELP

Well, I don't really know what to say except to get updated drivers for your
hub, webcam and soundcard and maybe USB Root (if it's PCI to USB for
example). I don't know if it will fix your problem, but it's worth a shot.

Hope this helps,
