I installed a trial of a security application on a
Windows XP Home. One of the things it seems to have done
is change a Policy so that the autocomplet options for
User Names and Passwords are greyed out and cannot be
selected.
Everything I can find in the knowledge base that seems
related only works for WindowsXP Professional.
How can I restore access to this autocomplete feature.

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Fix
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_oe_passwords.htm
This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords=20
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.=20
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
