Hello,
Is it possible to get banned from logging into Windows
Messenger? when i try to login, it says that the service
is unavailable, yet with another account it is fine. i
dont recall doing anything which could provoke a ban...
any ideas?

Greetings Jeff,
Getting banned is extremely rare, out of curiosity (and if possible), can you try logging
into it using another PC? As well, if it just occurred, it may just be a temporary issue.

Your account may be under maintenance, this sometimes happens to me as well.
I can't log into one account but another account works. Give it awhile and
it should work again.

well, yes I have on 3 different PC's... also the fact
that i can log into my old account suggests that the
problem is account related... is there any way to find
out if you are banned? it has been broke for about 2 days
now...

Hi Jeff,
Can you log into other Passport sites, for example http://www.passport.net (click the Sign
in)? If not, contact Passport Services:
http://register.passport.net/contactus.srf
I very much doubt you've been banned, but you can also contact Messenger Support here (they
should be able to tell you if you think so):

Funny, my user account (this e-mail) has been
under "maintence" the day I registered it. I can use ONLY
hotmail accounts, NOT ec.rr.com. My other accounts follows:
Help is appreciated
