From microsoft views,you shouldn't have two copies of xp
installed on the same machine.
Any other version of windows is ok,ecspecially on two
diffrent drives,but two xps,no.
If you have to,disconnecting the old,(physically) then
install xp solo is best,but reformatting the old drive
and using it for storage is the best bet.
