View Full Version : error mess.

December 24th 03, 03:33 PM
This can happen, when there is a startup entry in either
the startmenu or the regestry.
you can try the following.
If there is an entry in the startmenue (klick on start--
>programs-->startup or autostart) and you see an entry,
there that you did not put in there yourself, delete it by
rightklicking it and select delete.
Log out and back in(or restart the computer), if the error
appears again, it's getting a little more complicated.
Goto start, choose run..., enter regedit, press enter.
A window that looks like the windows-explorer will open.
Klick on HKEY_local_machine
Klick on software
Klick on microsoft
Klick on windows
klick on current version
klick on run
now you see entrys in the right side of the window.
If you see the entry for the DDCPath.exe, just delete it
and the problem should be solved.
But be aware, changing the registry is a critical thing.
If you delete the wrong entry, you might run into bigger
problems. If your not feeling shure, ask a friend to do it
if you got one with more computer experience.
