Messenger Disabled still getting popups

Hi,
2 weeks ago I started having a popup window flash on the
bottom right hand side of my screen. I disabled windows
messenger and installed a popups program to avoid these.
This popup ad window pops up when I am not online and it
says I am not connected to the internet!
I right clicked it and it says, Protocol: Hyyper Text
Transfer Protocol
Address: http://tnc4u.com/ads/images/pet2_03.jpg

It sounds like you might have some spyware installed on your PC. You can use something like
Ad-ware to stop this from occurring:

I do have Ad Ware installed and I am getting this windows
popup screen when I am not logged on to the internet.

Hi Jill,

Adaware from Lavasoft doesn't /block/ adverts. However, you use the software
to remove "Spyware" which is installed.
