View Full Version : Problems with voice conversations and Whiteboard

I am using Windows XP and Windows Messenger 4.7, with
Zone Alarm 3.7.098 (Free version) - Windows Firewall not
enabled. I can successfully conduct text conversations
using Windows Messenger, but everytime I try a Voice
Conversation or try to use the Whiteboard, I get the error
"The network or computer you are trying to reach is
experiencing a problem. Please try again later.". I
have also tried with Zone Alarm disabled, ie no firewall,
and same result. The person I am trying to chat to in
Japan also uses Windows XP and says she has previously
had successful voice conversations with other people
using Windows Messenger. Has anyone had a similar
experience and can assist me?
