Hi - I don't want to have MSM 4.7 automatically sign me
in. Any idea how to change that feature. Thanks.

Open Windows Messenger, click Tools -> Options, under Preferences, uncheck
the box that says "Run Windows Messenger when Windows starts".

Greetings Cathy,

To turn off the automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side
of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that
opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.

Hi Jason,

Sure it does, all Messenger versions do.

Hi Jason,

The only exceptions would be if you're using Windows Messenger 4.7 (before build 4.7.2005)
and have MSN Messenger 5 installed, this would disable the automatic sign-in. If you want it
back, simply install the latest build.
