Hard Drive

Hi,

You may have over reacted slighty, one bad sector is not
going to trash the HD, it is an indication of age and
ware and is somthing to keep your eye on.
I would just put the drive back and boot it and grab
thoses files in your doc sec the easy way, if a bad
sector has destroyed those doc's then it doesn't mater
anyway.Think about buying a new drive, image or backup or
both regularly.
