Using a Hyperlink to add a contact

This is probably a very stupid question...

Does anyone know the syntax for a hyperlink that will add
a contact (me- i want to put it on my web site) to Windows
or MSN Messenger?

I've been searching the knowledge base and apart from
finding someone else with the same thing on their website
I'm having trouble finding the info.

If your visitor uses Windows Messenger 4.x or 5.x you could use:

http://www.cdolive.net/download/IMUtilities-MSN-IMSample.zip

Note that this will not work with MSN Messenger 5 and has not been tested
with MSN Messenger 6 as of yet.

simpler, but this is more robust than what I was looking
for.
