I'm install windows XP.my machine is pentium III550,128mb
ram,27gb western digital HDD.My main board is xcell2000
(m748lmrt).but xp is very slow.the IDE drivers not
installed on XP.what can i do?

1. Get more RAM. 128 mb is pretty minimal for Windows XP. You will see a
substantial improvement in performance if you go to at least 256 mb and
probably even more of an improvement if you go to 384 or 512 mb total.

2. What specific error message or warning are you getting about the IDE
drivers that tells you they are not installed?

Go to the manufacturers web page for this motherboard -
http://www.pcchips.com.tw/M748LMRT.html - and check for updated drivers
etc for Windows XP.
