I am trying to use Creative Webcams for video messages
using Windows Messenger (latest update). As soon as I try
to start the conversation the person I am sending to
accepts the conversation and I get a message that the
conversation has been terminated. I have reinstalled the
Creative software but I am at a loss as what to do next.
One machine is running XP Home and the other XP
Professional. There is a Netgear MR314 Wireless Router
and I have no firewall present.
Thanks for any ideas.

Greetings Janet,

In order to use voice/video in Messenger through a router, your router will need to support
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP). As far as I know, the MR314 does not have UPnP support and
as such, you won't be able to use voice/video with just Messenger. You may be able to get
around the non-UPnP problem by using ENat for Messenger:
