When I open MSN Messenger 6 I would like to start with 'Appear Offline'
status. At the moment people can see if/when you come online through alerts.
How can I achieve that please?

Greetings Azam,
Unfortunately there is no function for this. If you have a small contact list, you can block
everyone before you sign out, so that when you sign in, they won't see you until you unblock
them.

Hi Jonathan,
Do you have any idea why MS doen't want to include the possibility for the
user to define his status before to login?
This is the only drawback that keeps me from using Windows Messenger.

Hi,
Well, the protocol does allow it -- I'm really not sure at this point.
