I am typing this on a friends computer in the hopes that
someone can shed some light on my problem.
without any warning, when i turned on my computer this
afternoon, while going through its normal startup
procedures, it came up with this erroe message
"windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt. it comes up \WINDOWS\systems32
\c_437.nls you can attempt to repair this file by
starting windows setup using the original setup cdrom.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair"
i have tried rebooting repeatedly using all possibe
combinations of the r button possible with no success.
any ideas?
