runtime error

looking for help with a Microsoft Word error. when I try
and create a document I automatically get this message:

Runtime error!
Program:c:\program files\mirosoft office\office\winword.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support
team for more information.

Suggestions,solutions? Should I use system restore to go
back to a time before this problem started or is it a
setting that needs to be fixed or possibly caused by a
virus?

Hi Carl,

Start/search/files and look for and delete and copies of normal.dot, see if
this helps.
