I have some contacts on my Allow list that I would like
to remove. This is a previous account that is no longer
active. There must be some way to delete it without just
blocking it....

Greetings David,
In the Privacy tab, Allow/Blocked lists, you can remove a person by right-clicking their name
and choosing the Delete option. If the Delete option is grayed out, then they haven't yet
removed you from their main contact list, and you won't be able to remove them.
