Hello, I was told that the recovery CD-ROM that came with
my computer was my windows XP CDs. My computer has
crashed several times and I have had to take it back to
the factory! I was trying to install my fax services and
it tell me to insert my CD . . . Can I use the recovery

Go to Add And Remove Windows Programs / Check on add Fax Sevices , insert XP
cd when prompted. I would think this is located on your recovery cd. Jimmy

Debbie,
You would need to consult the documentation that comes with your computer or
the manufacturer. Recovery disks are customized by the manufacturer and
without knowing what brand computer you have; it would be impossible to give
you advice. Have you checked in Start> Help and Support for special
information on your brand of computer? Most companies have brand specific
help files covering the recovery procedure and other brand specific
information.
