Task Scheduler

I've got no icon for Task Scheduler in control panel and when I click on the
folder in accessories/system tools/scheduled tasks nothing happens.

Task Scheduler is running as a local service and to all intents it should be
working but it isn't any ideas please?

Hi David

When I go into c:\windows\tasks I can get the tasks to run...but I've still
got no icon for Task Scheduler in control panel and when I click on the
folder in accessories/system tools/scheduled tasks nothing happens.
