I don't want my messenger to sign in automatically. I have gone into
control panel and removed my net account and have made sure it is not
checked in the options on messenger itself. Is there something else I am
missing as it is still signing in???

Greetings,
To turn off the automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side
of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that
opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
