uninstall folders

In my Windows directory, I have lost of folders called
$NtUninstallQ814995$ or similar. Do I need to keep these
or can I delete them?

Those folders contain the uninstall information for removing the Updates
(Hotfixes) you downloaded from the Windows Update website. If your
computer is running fine, you may safely delete those folders.

Remove Hotfix Backup files and the Add/Remove Programs Registry entries
