Hi,

Has anyone had this kind of problem - this is second time
I experienced this problem - I am normal user nothing
special, MS office, Outlook etc. Yesterday I've booted my
HP xe4500 notebook and while booting XP found some errors
on disk and automaticaly fixed them and then booted WinXP.
After I enter Username/password i hear welcome sound and
disk is reading for a minute or two like it is loading
something but I can see only HPInvent wallpaper on my LCD.
Mouse is working, keyboard is working but WindowsXP isn't
responding to Window-E shortcut or on Ctrl-Alr-Del there
is no application running. I can sit and wait forever to
show my icons or Start menu but it will not show them.
Restart, shutdown or anything else doesn't help! I can
reach my files using administrative account over the
network using \\computer\c$ path. Last time I had this
problem I had to reinstall Windows XP. Anyone experienced
this kind of problem? Regards, Damir.
