problems starting windows

hi
I have a terrible problem because windows wont start on my
computer. Everytime I start it, it shows me the windows xp
logo and then reboots automatically. I know I can re-
install Windows, but I'd lose all my files, that I haven't
back-up because I don't have a floppy-driver.
Please give me some advice.
