I keep getting a messange that I need a later version of Windows Installer
to install the MSN Messenger 6.0 that is downloadable from some sites. I do
not have the slightest idea what or where such a animal resides.

They may be corrupted versions, because the latest version of the Windows Installer is in
Windows XP.
