windows messenger uninstall

I also good the same problem. I also upgraded my windows
to xp. I want to uninstall my windows messenger, as I
downloaded msn messenger and it is better. When I sign in
to Windows Messenger, I get this message in a dialogue
box: "Signing in to Communcations Service failed because
the service is temporaly unavailable. Please try again."
Now I want to delete or uninstall Windows Messenger from
my computer.

Any thoughts? Email me separately. Not on the internet.
As I dont usually come to this site.
