Boxes for checking/unchecking...

I've had to uninstall MSN Messenger 5 due to a conflict
and have now re-installed Windows Messenger. I'm just
checking my checked boxes and notice that the box
for "alert me when others add me to their contact lists"
is faded so it can't be checked or unchecked. Is this
right?

Greetings Lacey-cat,

This option is only available if you're signed in, and you don't have "All other users"
blocked. If you do have "All other users" blocked, this option is turned on (as well as
"faded") and you can't turn it off.
