cant talk or use video with MSN IM...but I did before I upgraded it..

I had no problems with MSN Instant Message until I
upgrated it and now I can't talk or use the instant
camera....but I still can type to the other person...the
message says it is either your computer, internet
provider or network that won't let you do this now
because of a firewall...but I was doing it before for a
few years with XP...???? help...don't feel like paying
35 bucks!!!!.....

Greetings Diane,

The simplest fix to this is just to use System Restore to restore your computer back to
before you upgraded Messenger. To do so, click the Start button, then Help & Support, then
choose "Undo changes to my computer using System Restore" and go through the wizard to
restore back to before you installed upgrade.

The upgrade itself is fine, but there may be other things on your computer that could be
effected by upgrading Messenger (for example, if you're using a third-party firewall tool, it
may be seeing the new version of Messenger as a "new application" and not allowing it
complete access to the Internet connection).
