help needed urgent what are these errors?????????

i checked my error log under help and support and this is
just a few of the errors i saw-DCOM unable to start a
DCOM server(then lots of numbers)the error "%3"happened
while starting this command:c:\progra~1\AIM95\ai m.exe-
embedding this was on my error log over 20 times in the
same day?
and todays errors were all to do with a device attatched
to the system is not functioning??they are all saying
that particular programs failed to start because of the
device not functioning.the programs that failed to start
include-SYMTDI,DHCP,IPSEC,MESSENGER,WMI ADAPTER OPEN OF
SERVICE FAILED,and another one was VIRTUAL CD v4 security
service(sdk -version)mismatch in drives number found in
regkey(1)and system(0) i havent a clue what is happening
to my xp.pleeeeeeeaaasssssssse help
