Computer won`t reboot problem

My computer starts up fine but when I reboot from windows it goes to the
startup process but says it can`t find the hard drive so I just turn off the
computer and back on and it boots fine I even reformated and installed
windows xp home and it does the same thing it has done this for over a year
and no one knows why any ideas? PLEASE EMAIL ME at
