MSN 5/6 won't display entire contact list

Hi,

my sister has to use the old build-in-Windows Messenger, because MSN
messenger 5 or 6-beta won't display her entire contact list (only the 'other
contacts' group and a few 'friends' are displayed, while others CAN see
her.). This happens on all computers she uses MSN on, and she doesn't know
what caused this, and neither do I. She would like to use the new feauters
of MSN messenger 6.

Anyone know what can cause this/how to solve this or will she have to get a
new passport?
